I left the workforce when my son was born and discovered that even though I was very busy figuring out life as a new mom, that I did have some down time too! I rediscovered my love for sewing and creating, and my passion for a DIY lifestyle grew from there. I discovered blogging 5 years ago and was so excited about the opportunities to come from it. There were so many ways to find and share ideas! I decided to share some of the projects that kept our family busy. I came up with kids activites, kids crafts, recipes, sewing projects and home decor. That is how Gluesticks came about!
3 more children have since joined our family and we continue to share what we love! My husband is in the Coast Guard so we move around the country every few years. We've enjoyed meeting new friends, visiting new places, and turning each new house into a home. I love being able to be at home with my family and make a part-time income on the side through opportunities with Gluesticks. It funds my craft supply and fabric addiction and my husband can't complain about that!
