Hi! My name is Queenie Foong Kwin Tan and I am a Published Parenting Professional. Aside from being a proud mom of two (Charles is 8 years and Kevin is 6) I am also an early childhood education specialist, a certified Montessori teacher, a kindergarten teacher trainer, a pre-school and playgroup curriculum writer, a speaker, a parenting coach and a published author of 'Cool stuff your parents never told you about parenting'.
Having dedicated 14 years working with young children in diverse settings, 8 years training, lecturing and mentoring kindergarten and Montessori teachers and 3 years setting up Montessori kindergarten and playgroup classrooms in (Dongguan) China, my passion has extended to working with parents as well.
Now, I spend a lot of my time sharing my knowledge and experience with parents and teachers alike through speaking, contributing articles about children and parenting to magazines and running parenting workshops.
I will also be launching a monthly parenting bulletin soon! I also enjoy sharing my ideas and daily encounters as a parent and teacher on my Facebook page.
